Mallard Landing is
located in the Town of Denton, in Caroline County,
Maryland. The scroll and
motto on the County Seal in Latin means, “Land
of Pleasant Living”, indicative of Caroline County’s
welcome to all.
Denton offers residents
and visitors many outdoor activities such as canoeing,
golfing, biking,
hiking, bird watching,
hang gliding, horseback riding, ballooning, camping,
boating, fishing, and hunting.
Caroline County has over 8,000 acres of public parks,
nature preserves, and wildlife sanctuaries. Several
private parks also offer camping, swimming, fishing
and boat
rentals.
